Medicare and Payments

American senior citizens are eligible for a comprehensive health insurance plan called “Medicare” after they reach age 65.

Some other Americans are also eligible for Medicare if they have certain qualified disabilities. Medicare typically covers between 80% and 100% of house call visits. House Call Medical Care accepts payments from Medicare, other health insurance companies, and works on a fee-for-service basis. Sometimes a co-pay is required.

You should contact your medical insurance company directly in order to clarify any questions you may have regarding your coverage, and to obtain specific, accurate and exact information regarding your particular situation. Just look on the back of your insurance card for a member services phone number to call.

Patients who do not have health insurance, or whose coverage does not include home care, may pay an out-of-pocket fee-for-service.
